AKC Canine Good Citizen
Group Classes
-
This program is designed to encourage dog owners and their puppies off to a good start. This is an excellent first in-person group training class for puppies. It provides a good lead-in to earning the Canine Good Citizen title.
-
This is an expert-made training program (CGC) designed to help you and your dog be the best you can be–together. It teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners.
-
This program (CGCA) is all about ensuring you have a well-behaved dog while you’re out and about in the community. Where CGC happens in a simulated environment, the 10-step AKC Community Canine test is conducted in real life situations—like walking on a busy sidewalk or through a local park–giving you and your dog the confidence to enjoy every day to the fullest, no matter what comes your way.
-
This program (CGCU) tests your CGC skills in an active city or town setting where there are cars, streets to be crossed, noises, different types of footings and fast-paced distractions. This will ensure the ultimate experience for both of you at any outdoor event and in the public setting.
